Summary
The Materials Handler ensures department cleanliness, orderliness, and safety. The Materials Handler ensures the accurate recording of data. The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Listen and follow the direction of the Production Supervisor, and take guidance from senior team members
  • Assist with the physical organization of inventory
  • Return inventory items to the proper locations
  • Assist materials handlers with picking items required for production

Requirements
  • Follow all safety policies & procedures as a prerequisite to employment
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Able to write and do basic math
  • Basic computer skills or willing to learn
  • Must be able to read a tape measure
  • Must be able to work well with others

Physical Requirements
  • Able to stand on feet wearing safety boots from 8-10 hours a day
  • Ability to lift, carry, twist, walk, and reach constantly, and bend frequently
  • Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
