Responsible for the overall management of a Library by ensuring appropriate library materials are available to students and staff. Communicates verbally, in writing and on the computer. May or may not collaborate with on-site Library Media Specialist.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Completion of an AZ Dept. of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test.
    OR
    Associate's Degree (or higher degree)
    OR
    Two-years (60 Semester-Hour credits) of study at an institute of higher learning
  • Two years of general office and/or library work experience.
  • Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE
  • FBI fingerprint background check.
  • Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Roberts/Naylor K-8 - 29th St & Columbus Area
Classification: White Collar
FTE : 1.0 - 8 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
