How you'll contribute:

Nurse Manager (RN) who excels in this role:

  • Lead staff: Supervise, mentor, and schedule Clinical Supervisors, Charge Nurses, RNs, LPNs, and CNAs (about 40 employees).
  • Foster development: Promote a professional environment, manage competencies/in-services, and encourage CRRN certification.
  • Optimize safety: Ensure care environments reduce medical errors and maximize patient safety.
  • Coordinate admissions: Manage new admissions, room placements, and acuity-based staff assignments.
  • Direct rehab care: Serve as a clinical resource, coordinate family education, and liaise across the rehab team.
  • Support the floor: Round on patients, resolve daily care issues, and take direct patient assignments as needed.
  • Improve outcomes: Evaluate risk indicators, quality metrics, and patient satisfaction to drive performance.
  • Manage QI data: Assist in ensuring accuracy for all Quality Indicator (QI) reporting.

What we are looking for:

Applicants should have a current Ohio RN license and possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • Certifications: BLS required; ALS and CRRN preferred 

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of rehab nursing and 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
