Job description

The Liberty Group is immediately hiring experienced, HVAC-certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians for onsite communities.
Pay ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
STOP — DO NOT APPLY unless you meet ALL required qualifications:
  • A/C Certification: EPA/CFC/HVAC certification (as required for the role)
  • 6+ months onsite apartment maintenance experience
  • Valid government-issued ID
  • Reliable transportation
  • Own basic tools needed for maintenance work

What you’ll do
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on A/C and mechanical systems
  • Complete resident service requests efficiently and professionally
  • Prepare vacant apartments for “make-ready” / turn status (repairs + improvements)
  • Maintain grounds and common areas
  • Document work completed in maintenance logs
  • Prioritize multiple work orders and deliver great resident customer service

Preferred (not required)
  • Strong apartment turn / make-ready experience
  • Experience in related fields (hotel maintenance, carpentry, rehab, condo) only if you also have onsite apartment experience
