About the role:

CLA is looking to hireAccounting Consultants(Engagement Directors)for ourClient AccountingandAdvisory Services (CAAS). As anEngagement Director, you will:

  • Serve as ahigh-levelinterim or project-basedaccountingresource for clientsin various industrieson accounting, finance, tax, and audit roles(Interim Controller, Financial Reporting Manager, Internal Audit Manager, etc.).

  • Design/improve accounting processessuch as:monthly close, management and financial reporting, forecasting, consolidations,and system implementationsto name a few.

  • Take an active andhands-onapproach in executingclientengagements.

What you will need:

  • Tenyearsrelative work experience including public accounting. Prior industry experience as a CFO, Controller, SECReportingor Internal Audit Manager equivalentpreferred. We love Big Four alum!

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fieldrequired.

  • Mastery in Microsoft Excel and experience in a variety of accounting software.

  • CPA certification is preferred but notrequired.

  • Prior project management andexceptionalclientservicemanagement experience preferred.
