Job description

Progressive and dynamic general practice seeks a new associate attorney to join our team. Case work will focus on family law with some exposure to criminal, civil, probate, and other practice areas. Associate Attorneys are encouraged and supported in developing new practice areas that match their personal interests.
We offer an open and affirming, family friendly workplace, a competitive salary with bonus potential, full benefits which include health/dental, PTO, sick time, 401(k) with 3% company matching, and an opportunity for a hybrid work environment allowing Attorney's to work from home some days. Our new Associate Attorney will work from our Brainerd Office the majority of the time and from our satellite office in St. Cloud from time to time. Much higher earning potential after one year of employment based on a percentage fee scale.
Experience is required. Associate Attorney will need to manage their own client/case load, with help from a legal support team.

* Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation.
* Draft legal documents and correspondence with precision, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Assist in family law, and other areas of practice as needed.
* Collaborate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress.
* Participate in negotiations and represent clients in various legal proceedings.
