LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse
High Intensity Care Unit (HICU)
Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

About the Role

Join the dedicated team at Levindale Hospital’s High Intensity Care Unit (HICU), where you will provide skilled, compassionate care to adult patients with complex medical needs. This includes patients requiring ventilator and pulmonary support, cardiac monitoring, and recovery from acute brain injuries.

As an LPN, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established care plans and clinical guidelines
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
  • Communicate effectively with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Educate and support patients and families, offering both clinical guidance and emotional care
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards

Qualifications
  • Active Maryland or Compact State LPN license
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
