Job description

Job Summary
The Workforce Software Configurator will serve as a timekeeping analyst responsible for translating complex timekeeping requirements into scalable system logic and configurations. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and be productive immediately, with either expert-level knowledge of WorkForce Software or a deep understanding of UAW Hourly Timekeeping policies.
Key Responsibilities
• Translate union agreements, labor laws, and complex work rules into scalable system logic and configurations.
• Configure and support Time and Attendance, Scheduling, and Absence Management modules within the WFM platform.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and batch data processes.
• Manage platform governance, including security roles, upgrades, and overall environment stability.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of workforce data across integrated enterprise systems.
• Develop SQL-based reporting and dashboards to support business and operational needs.
Required Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in a timekeeping analyst role.
• Strong knowledge of UAW Hourly Timekeeping policies, including experience from environments such as automotive manufacturing organizations.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and supporting HR/Payroll integrations.
• Hands-on experience configuring enterprise WFM platforms supporting more than 10,000 employees.
• Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian labor regulations.
• Advanced SQL and data engineering capabilities, including ETL design and development.
• Strong experience with API integrations, including REST, SOAP, XML, and flat file processing.
• Ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong hands-on experience with WorkForce Software configuration.
• Experience with Time and Attendance module configuration.
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with WorkForce Software configuration.
• Knowledge of Ford Hourly Employee Timekeeping policies.
• Experience with alternative WFM platforms such as UKG/Kronos, Dayforce, or SAP SuccessFactors.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as GCP or BigQuery.
• Automotive or industrial manufacturing industry experience.
