Position Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspection and Compliance:
    • Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
    • Inspect mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural systems to verify proper installation and functionality.
    • Identify and document any deviations from approved plans and specifications and recommend corrective actions.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
    • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
    • Perform tests and inspections on materials and equipment to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
    • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other relevant documentation.
    • Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding inspection results and project status.
  • Coordination and Support:
    • Collaborate with project teams to resolve construction issues and ensure timely project completion.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to contractors and construction personnel.
    • Participate in project meetings and provide input on construction methods, materials, and schedules

Skills and Competencies - appropriate to the Jr., Mid or Sr. Level qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural or Geotechnical or Environmental or Electrical or Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

Certifications: (e.g., ICC, NICET) are highly desirable.
Expected Position Start Date: 12/1/2025
Expected Duration of Assignment: Through March 2026 and potential 2-year extensions thereafter
Note: This position is not limited to day shifts. Night shifts and weekend work will be required regularly
Position Location: West Baltimore, Maryland, South of Baltimore Penn Station
Salary Range:
Jr. level: $56,000 - $65,829 YR
Mid Level: $ 65,000 to $97,000
Sr. Level: $99,860 - $116,257
