About the Job

99 Ran Market Daly City Store is hiring Cashier Supervisor.
99 Ranch Market is one of the largest Asian supermarket chains in the United States. We have 70 store locations in California, Nevada, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, New Jersey and more to come! We are passionate and honored to be shaping the Asian Supermarket culture within the grocery industry. As 99 Ranch Market expends, we have new positions open. We welcome new members to grow alongside with the family.
Responsibilities:
  • Properly operate the cash register, handle all types of transactions and assist customers with packaging.
  • Assist store operation to increase efficiency and participate in the recruiting and managing process.
  • Provide training to team members including proper customer service etiquettes, POS operation, package rules, and other cashier department operations.
  • Oversee cashier operation such as using POS devices, building and retaining customer relationships, updating product price, performing batch-related tasks and other customer services.
  • Properly respond to customer returns, exchanges, questions, requests, suggestions and complaints.
  • Show knowledge about all products to serve customer needs.
  • Report accidents, violations and other incidents.
  • Maintain clean and safe working environments.
  • Control, safeguard and monitor store assets and related procedure implementation.
  • Identify potential issues and propose improvement plan.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Previous related work experience and leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of cashier register and POS devices.
  • Ability to memorize and recognize products.
  • Accommodate to flexible schedule including weekends and holidays or rotating schedules.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, customer services, time management and critical thinking skills.
  • Good understanding of personnel resource management.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, to lift up to 25+ lbs object and to make repetitive finger and wrist movement.
  • Bilingual in English/Chinese/Cantonese is a plus.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
