Job description

Ginger Bread House is a nurturing, play-based environment that provides a safe and caring environment for all staff and families.

Ginger Bread Preschool and Childcare has full-time and part-time openings for Teachers to join our dedicated team at all of our locations: Sun Prairie, Stoughton, McFarland, Windsor, Deforest, and Madison!
FREE CHILDCARE FOR EMPLOYEES!
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
  • Our locations are open Monday through Friday: 7:00am to 5:30pm.
  • Full-Time: 40 hours per week

Benefits:

Education and Qualifications:
  • Must have completed at least 80 working days as a full-time assistant childcare teacher or 120 days as a half-time assistant child care teacher.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be listed as a Level 7 or above on the Childcare Registry.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care!

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for planning and implementing daily program.
  • Daily communication with parents, participate in parent conferences.
  • Children's record keeping (including progress reports twice a school year.)
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment that encourages exploration, play, and creativity
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers
  • Model appropriate behavior and language for children and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Adhere to all licensing regulations and center policies
