Job description

Job Title: Thixo Production Associate I Location: Loveland

Department: Production

Reports to: Manufacturing Manager/Lead Operator

Effective Date: May 2026

Job Summary:

Performs inspection and packaging of magnesium parts. Adheres to all plant and OSHA safety policies and regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • N/A
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Processes manufactured parts per job instructions, pack verified amounts, and label appropriately.
  • Report out on workstation for DMS (Daily Management Systems).
  • Constructs boxes for packing at assigned workstations.
  • Visually inspects parts for defects as noted in Job Data Packages or work Instructions and sample boxes to ensure quality parts are being packed in compliance with specified requirements.
  • Understands production records and is able to keep accurate counts of accepted, rejected and scrapped product as noted on shift Report Sheets.
  • Lifts and carries boxes (up to 50 lbs.) to pallets for movement to shipping or storage. Can use pallet jack to move pallets of boxes or totes.
  • Responsible for keeping the assigned workstation well organized, clean and neat by following the 5S structure present.
  • Alerts shift Lead Operator of machine malfunction or scrap quantity issues.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with other coworkers.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to work with coworkers in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to maintain and understand records and data, as well as complete required shift documentation.
  • Ability to document accurate production reports.
  • Must be able to run 5 workstation applications independently at 6-month mark.
  • Ability to use two and four wheeled hand trucks, pallet jacks.
  • Continuous mental and visual attention to quality of products produced.
  • English language proficiency to include verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to work any shift as required.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 0-6 Months Experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand entire shift (8+ hrs.).
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Requires manual dexterity.
  • Moderate physical demand involving lifting and moving of materials and equipment.
  • Frequently moves from waist level to floor level.
