Employment Litigation Associate – San Francisco, CA

Our client, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join their San Francisco office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator with experience handling California wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases to work in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage employment litigation cases from start to finish
  • Handle California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings
  • Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
  • Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts
  • Work directly with clients on various employment law challenges
  • Collaborate with a team while also taking initiative on independent case management

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • 4-6 years of employment litigation experience
  • Experience handling wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases is required
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and case management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a team
  • Active California Bar admission is required
