Unarmed Security Officer - Non-Profit Organization
Pay: $14/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77002 (Downtown Houston)
Schedule: Full-Time, Afternoon, 35 hours/week

  • Monday: 1:00PM - 8:00AM
  • Tuesday: 1:00PM - 8:00AM
  • Wednesday: 1:00PM - 8:00PM
  • Thursday: 1:00PM - 8:00PM
  • Friday: 1:00PM - 8:00PM
City Security Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and alert Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services within a Non-Profit Organization. In this role, you will conduct foot patrols, monitor visitor activity, verify guest access, respond to security incidents, and maintain a visible security presence throughout the property. Successful candidates must be able to remain calm under pressure and feel comfortable working in a community focused environment with diverse groups of people.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct foot patrols throughout the property.
  • Monitor visitor and volunteer traffic entering the property
  • Verify guest access and assist visitors with directions as needed
  • Respond to employee, disturbances, and suspicious activity
  • Assisting with events and crowd control when needed
  • Conduct perimeter checks of parking areas, and common spaces
  • Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
  • Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel when emergency situations arise
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence
Requirements:
  • Active Level II Security License or the ability to obtain one
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight shifts
