Level II Security Officer(Training Provided)

WHAT WE PROVIDE

This is a Seasonal or Flexible Part-Time position at Six Flags EntertainmentCorporationSix Flags Fiesta Texas, offering an exciting opportunity to launch a career in Security and Public Safety. Certified Level II Security Officers earn $14.75 per hour. Applicants who do not currentlypossessa State of Texas Level II Security License are still encouraged to apply and will begin training and working as a Security Screener at $10.25 per hour while completing the certification process. Upon obtaining and providing valid Level II credentials to the department, Team Members will transition into the Level II Security Officer position and corresponding pay rate.

PAY & CERTIFICATION PROCESS

  • Once credentials are obtained and verified, pay increases to$14.75/houras a Level II Security Officer
  • Applicants who do not obtain certification within60 daysmay remain in the Screener position at the Screener pay rate

Responsibilities:

As a Level II Security Officer, you will help provide a safe, secure, and family-friendly environment for guests and Team Members throughout the park.This position is ideal for individuals interested in public safety, emergency response, customer service, or law enforcement careers.While awaiting certification, you will gain valuable experience working as a Security Screener, learning park operations, guest interaction, and security procedures before transitioning into a fully certified Security Officer role.


Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Ability to successfully obtain a State of Texas Level II Security Certification within60 days
  • Strong communicationand guest service skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, andspecial events
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods of time
  • Ability to follow procedures, policies, and directions from leadership
  • Previoussecurity or customer service experience is preferred, but notrequired
