What Impact You'll Have:
GRVTY is seeking experienced Network Engineers to support core Intelligence Community (IC) missions. As a Network Engineer in the intelligence community, you will work as part of a team on the frontlines against our cyber adversaries.
What You'll be Owning:
We are seeking a Network Engineer for a funded role to provide Network Communication services to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities. The Network Engineer provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.
  • Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
  • Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
  • Able to support on-call requirements.
  • Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
  • Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers

What You Must Have:
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. Most recent poly in the last 7 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • Minimum five (5) years of demonstratable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection or seven (7) years minimum experience in lieu of degree.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II level certification.
  • Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
