Position Opening โ€“ Grant Writing Administrator

Easterseals Delaware & Marylandโ€™s Eastern Shore is seeking a highly organized, confident, engaging professional who is interested in joining Easterseals Development team. The position is responsible for researching, drafting, and submitting proposals to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies for Easterseals programs and capital projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and format comprehensive, persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and applications
  • Grant management & reporting
  • Work with organization leadership, program directors, and other internal stakeholders as a part of the proposal development process
  • Research and identify funding prospects
  • Data and record management

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 yearsโ€™ experience in grant management or nonprofit fundraising
  • Federal and state government grant application knowledge
  • Expertise in proposal submission and fundraising process
  • Exceptional communication skills & time management
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft programs
  • Experience in utilizing databases such as Candid/Foundation Directory Online, Raiserโ€™s Edge, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in English, Communications, or a related field
