Job description

Role and Responsibilities
General Job Responsibilities and Requirements include but are not limited to:
  • PLC knowledge and troubleshooting ability , specifically Allen and Bradly , Siemens and Lenze drives would be a plus for the right individual.
  • Trouble shoot, repair, install, test & maintain new and existing electrical/ electronic circuits, systems, components and controls of building & manufacturing equipment.
  • Install modify & repair electrical/electronic systems, apparatus and components of new & existing building & manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain equipment & controls while following guidelines of the National Electrical code, local electrical Code, schematic diagrams, manufacturer manuals & specifications.
  • Repair & preventative maintenance of printing and bindery equipment, as well as handling the mechanical and electrical needs of a 230,000 sq. ft. facility.
  • Must have knowledge of wire size & types, conduits, couplings, fittings, electrical boxes, circuit breakers and other electrical control devices with the ability to arrange and install them in a way that insures proper and safe operation relative to the National Electric Code & local electrical code.
  • Must understand use of computers & laboratory electrical/electronic test equipment.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems a plus.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to understand printing jobs and instructions
  • Must be a team player who is detailed-orientated and thorough in completing work tasks.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more unassisted.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
  • Willing to work weekly overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Successful Candidate is punctual, follows directions, ask questions, is energetic and conscious with a can do attitude.
