Legion Security is seeking experienced, professional, and dependable security professionals to join our team as Patrol Officer / Operations Support & Event Security Specialists.

This is an on-call position designed for individuals who enjoy a variety of assignments and are available to support mobile patrol operations, operational needs, and special events throughout the Seattle area. Assignments may include vehicle patrols, site coverage, festivals, community events, private functions, and emergency staffing requests.

This role is ideal for security professionals looking to gain diverse experience while working alongside a growing organization with opportunities for advancement.

Position Overview

As a Patrol Officer / Operations Support & Event Security Specialist, you will conduct vehicle patrols across multiple client properties, assist management with operational support, and provide professional security services at special events and temporary assignments. Successful candidates must be adaptable, dependable, and capable of working independently in fast-paced environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle patrols at multiple client locations throughout the assigned region.

  • Respond to service calls, alarms, disturbances, and client requests.

  • Provide security coverage for special events, festivals, concerts, private functions, and community events.

  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas during events.

  • Assist with crowd management, access control, and line management.

  • Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports.

  • Assist with coverage at static security posts when operational needs require.

  • Support field personnel by providing operational assistance and maintaining company standards.

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with post orders.

  • Build positive relationships with clients, tenants, event organizers, and members of the public.

  • Represent Legion Security professionally at all times.

  • Assist management with special projects and operational assignments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Washington State Security Guard License (Required)

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (Required)

  • Reliable transportation

  • Minimum two (2) years of security, military, law enforcement, or related experience preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Professional appearance and customer service mindset.

  • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and short-notice assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vehicle patrol experience.

  • Event security or crowd management experience.

  • Supervisory or leadership experience.

  • Experience working in residential, retail, commercial, or mixed-use properties.

  • CPR/First Aid Certification.

  • Experience with de-escalation and conflict resolution.
