Standard Job Description Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to requirements.

Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. IRST Programs LSE is seeking a highly motivated and engaged Configuration & Data Management Associate Manager.

The IRST Portfolio of programs includes IRST21, F18 BLK II, Legion Pod, Legion-ES and Legion-ST. Programs and Customers supported are in various stages of product lifecycle ranging from IRAD & Development to Production & Postproduction Sustainment. The Configuration & Data Management Team drives end-to-end configuration, data and release engineering for internally developed and commercial off-the-shelf hardware & software, ensuring our products and services meet ISO9000 standards and customers' exacting requirements.

As the Configuration Management Lead, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and continuous improvement of all Configuration Data Management (CDM) activities across the IRST Portfolio. You will serve as the primary point of contact for configuration, unique identification, asset management and data deliverables while guiding a team of engineers and support staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Directing configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery for hardware, software, and COTS items.

Developing, publishing, and maintaining companywide configuration management standards and policies. Leading the creation and upkeep of Configuration Management Plans, Unique Identification Plans, and Program Management Plans. Overseeing software configuration management (SCM), asset management system (AMS), and engineering release processes.

Coordinating proposal support, program directives, and customer/JV interface activities. Managing staffing, budgets, and training for the configuration team; conducting performance assessments and recognition actions. Preparing for and responding to audits (DCMA, CSI, NQA, internal) and ensuring compliance with ISO 9000.

Reviewing and approving data deliverables, and providing functional support to the Interface Control Working Group (ICWG). Successful candidates possess management experience in configuration management, logistics and support concepts with a broad background in sensor systems support, and a proven track record of managing challenges to meet commitments. The position requires collaboration across multiple functions, including, but not limited to Integrated Logistics Support, Engineering, Quality, Depot Repair, Production and IRST Programs Senior staff.

This position requires effective organizational management and communication skills with a background in sustainment, production, and/or field support. Candidates must possess experience and initiative to ensure technical support is provided to all areas, keep abreast of technical issues, schedule challenges and ensure the right processes are being exercised to drive timely resolution of issue, contract & specification compliance and hardware delivery. Security Clearance with investigation <5 yrs is required.

Basic Qualifications Appropriate Business or Technical degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment. Strong CDM technical aptitude as either highlighted in the resume and/or discussed in interview Demonstrated attention to detail is paramount to compare results with multiple data sets Must be computer literate, familiar with current Windows based software applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and Project) Active Secret Clearance w/current 5yr background check Demonstrated excellence in communicating with Senior Levels of Management Demonstrated Problem-Solving skills and Full Spectrum Leadership attributes Desired Skills Experience in managing Logistics/Technical projects and personnel Experience with performance management, employee discipline processes and interviews & team member onboarding CAM experience & man-power planning Experience with proposal / BOE development and man-power estimation Experience working with USG and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
