Job Summary
Analyst will support the legal department's operation activities related to process improvement, system implementation, monthly reporting, data analytics, presentation development and ad hoc projects.
Specific Job Functions:
  • Perform a wide variety of recurring and non-recurring data analyses/reporting related to operations of legal department and risk management.
  • Consult with different in-house legal lanes to understand and improve their reporting processes and construct metrics for performance tracking.
  • Develop recurring and ad hoc presentation PowerPoint decks.
  • Act as a liaison between Legal Operations, Procurement and IT.
  • Administration and application development for Contract Lifecycle Management systems.
  • Participates in data-specific team meetings and provides recommendations for new or modified standards and specifications.
  • Use internal/external applications to conduct, review and report on data quality checks.
  • Provides reference for customers by writing documentation; providing support and help
  • Develops problem solutions by describing requirements in a work-flowchart and diagram; studying system capabilities; analyzing alternative solutions; preparing system specifications
  • Collaborative relationship builder: this teammate will be frequently work with individuals from different functions and lanes. It will important that this teammate build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Special projects at the direction of Legal Operations Manager.
  • Proactively suggests new ideas/analyses to improve processes and reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Entry level position
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Business Administration background preferred
  • Project management certification preferred
  • Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
  • Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work for self and others to deliver on commitments and achieve results.
  • Quick learner and self-starter with ability to drive independent problem solving, comfortable with a constantly evolving environment.
