Overview
The Salt Lake City, UT office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw100 firm, is seeking a docket clerk with legal experience. The primary responsibilities of this position include receiving all mail requiring calendaring and maintaining up-to-date and complete electronic calendar pertaining to discovery, pre-trial, motion deadlines, depositions, etc. Depending on requirements of specific groups calendaring requirements may be extended.

Responsibilities
Job Specifications/Requirements:
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in law firm
  • Intermediate skills using Microsoft Word and comfortable with a variety of computer software program
  • Minimum typing requirement of 50 wpm
  • Must be proficient with all State and Federal Court deadlines
  • Must be familiar with some type of law firm calendaring system (ProLaw, Compulaw, etc.) Milena preferred but not required
  • Reliable, consistent attendance in the office is required
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and willing to learn
