Job description

Summary
The Manager, Employee Accommodations, leads the design, administration, and continuous improvement of the organization's employee accommodations program. This role serves as the institutional subject matter expert for ADA, ADAAA, Section 504, and related employment laws, with responsibility for managing complex accommodation cases, directing the interactive process, and ensuring consistent, compliant application of accommodation decisions. The position operates with a high degree of independence and provides consultative guidance to leadership, HR partners, and managers to support an inclusive and accessible workplace.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and independently adjudicate accommodation requests, including complex and

high-risk cases, in accordance with ADA/ADAAA, Section 504, PWFA and applicable laws.
  • Lead the interactive accommodation process, partnering with employees, managers, HR,

and Legal to identify reasonable and effective solutions.
  • Review and interpret medical documentation and functional limitations; determine

accommodation feasibility, approvals, denials, or alternatives.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accommodation policies, procedures, templates, and

documentation standards.
  • Serve as the primary consultant and advisor to leadership and HR on accommodation-related matters, risk mitigation, and compliance strategy.
  • Deliver training and guidance to supervisors and departments on legal obligations and

best practices.
