Legal Recruiter/Senior Legal Recruiter Scion Legal is seeking a remote Legal Recruiter/Senior Legal Recruiter to add to our award-winning and growing legal recruiting team! If you’re a driven individual who has a passion for recruiting exceptional legal talent, building strong client relationships, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced, metrics-driven producing team environment, then this is the place for you! This position is 100% remote, and for immediate hire in one of our PT or MT core states: AZ, CA, CO, OR or WA.

OVERVIEW

The Legal Recruiter/Senior Legal Recruiter will work with our legal recruiting division to support the growth and success of the firm’s temporary and direct hire workforce placements. This person will possess proven full-lifecycle recruiting experience, adept at sourcing, interviewing, testing, and placing attorneys with various law firms and come from a staffing environment. This fully remote position requires well-executed hands-on client relationship development skills, business savviness, and innovative strategies for effective talent recruitment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Candidate Recruitment, Retention, and Placement Lead full-lifecycle attorney and legal searches, acting as a consultative partner to clients and candidates to ensure successful placements of top-tier legal talent.
  • Recruit, interview, and expertly place exceptional legal talent, including attorneys and other legal professionals for direct hire, temporary-to-full-time, temporary, and client project opportunities!
  • Strategically source and attract high-caliber candidates using Bullhorn ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and a variety of creative methods including online job boards and social networks, building a strong talent pipeline.
  • Assess candidate qualifications by thoroughly vetting candidate backgrounds, experience, hard and soft skills, etc.
  • Arrange candidate-client interviews by coordinating schedules; provide coaching and interview preparation for candidates.
  • Maintain ongoing communication after placement and resolve any client and/or candidate issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality, sensitivity, and the highest level of customer service satisfaction.
  • Advocate for both client and candidate through offer process and negotiations. Must meet billing requirements to be successful in this position.
Relationship Development & Client Engagement
  • Conduct client intake to assess the viability of prospective job opportunities.
  • Perform thorough research on job requirements and qualifications, as well as work environment and organizational culture.
  • Serve as a direct point of contact and provide exceptional service to our staffing clients.
  • Provide consultation to clients regarding search strategy and communicate market trends.
  • Help develop and grow a client base by promoting our services, expertise, and core values for direct hire, temporary, contract, and/or interim staffing solutions when and where possible.
  • Participate in networking events to increase the firm’s presence in the local business community.
  • Participate in educational opportunities, workshops, and seminars to increase knowledge on current industry and hiring trends.
Recruitment Administration & Writing
  • Utilize Bullhorn ATS extensively to ensure active candidate tracking, maintain candidate and client notes, review candidate applications, and schedule appointments.
  • Maintain email correspondence with clients, candidates, and internal staff through Outlook online.
  • Create thorough written candidate presentations for client review.
  • Generate job descriptions to post on Bullhorn and online job sites.
  • Coordinate with the Operations/HR team to ensure proper follow-through on candidate onboarding, reference, and background checks.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • 3-5+ years of attorney or specialized legal recruiting experience and proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment!
  • Success at working in a remote recruiting environment while remaining competitive to exceeding growth numbers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong intuition for culture fit while evaluating candidates.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
  • Experience working with previous Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards, and online networking resources.
  • Experience working with Bullhorn ATS is a PLUS.
  • The ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written correspondence.
  • Must be comfortable presenting in group settings and directly to any/all levels of an organization.
  • Team player mentality yet able to work independently and learn adaptively.
  • In-depth knowledge or passion for learning current recruiting practices; prior exposure to human resources responsibilities including employment law, compensation structures, and benefits.
  • Strong desire to succeed; self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges!
