Position Title: Legal Project Manager (Innovation/Operations Team)


Location: Ybor City Office (Hybrid, 3 days in office/2 days remote)


Position Description: The Legal Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of legal operations and technology projects, including website development, digital tools, and process improvement initiatives. This role focuses on delivering practical solutions that improve efficiency, expand access to justice, and enhance the client and staff experience.

The Legal Project Manager works closely with internal teams and external vendors to implement digital and operational projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities.


Illustrative Duties:

  • Support website development and enhancement projects
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and vendors
  • Maintain website and digital platforms
  • Research, validate, and upload legal content to chatbot and website
  • Develop legal resources and document automation tools
  • Track progress, risks, and timelines
  • Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and testing
  • Maintain project documentation and workflows
  • Apply User Experience (UX) and accessibility best practices
  • Support reporting and analytics
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication




Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) required, active and in good standing with The Florida Bar
  • 2+ years law as practicing attorney experience
  • 2+ years project or legal operations experience
  • Proficiency using website development tools (Drupal/WordPress preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Desire to work with and understand vulnerable populations accessing civil legal aid services
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills
  • Ability to learn new systems


Desirable Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
  • Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster)
