Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a fast-paced legal team. This role will provide administrative and legal support to attorneys, ensuring efficient case management, document preparation, and scheduling coordination. The ideal candidate brings recent experience within a law firm environment and thrives in a deadline-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, attorneys, and internal staff
  • Maintain and update case management systems and records
  • Manage calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate court appearances
  • Answer and direct calls, take detailed messages, and follow up as needed
  • Process expense reimbursements and check requests
  • Maintain multiple schedules and provide timely reminders

Legal Support
  • Prepare, format, proofread, and edit legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Assist with court filings and preparation of statements and forms
  • Support legal research activities and coordinate with vendors, experts, and opposing counsel
  • Assist with trial preparation, including briefs and supporting materials
  • Organize and maintain discovery and pleading binders

Scheduling & Coordination
