Legal, Risk and Compliance consultants will experience a variety of projects. Consultants learn alongside experienced leaders and advisors to develop a strong understanding of business processes and build technical skills in general risk areas. Consultants compile and analyze data, document findings, and communicate insights that contribute impactfully to client engagements. Legal, Risk and Compliance consultants develop knowledge in core business processes within the financial services, technology, and healthcare industries. Consultants will work within internal control and risk frameworks, as well as regulatory and compliance methodologies.
Legal, Risk and Compliance consultants will help develop key deliverables, including process flows, work programs, reports, and control summaries. Consultants will review transactions to provide process improvement recommendations and address legal, risk and compliance challenges as needed. Legal, Risk and Compliance consultants will work within various segments, including but not limited to financial crime and anti-money laundering, risk management, credit services, regulatory compliance and consumer protection, analytics, and legal consulting.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree: Bachelor's, Master's, or Juris Doctor, degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Applied Math, Criminal Justice, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Law and Policy, Legal Studies, Management, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Pre-Law, Political Science and Statistics)

- Experience solving problems using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools (i.e. Microsoft Copilot, GenAI, etc.)
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.
$70,000.00 - $87,000.00Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.
$2,000The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.
$72,000.00 - $89,000.00Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
