Job description

LHH is partnering with a valued law firm client to identify a Litigation Legal Assistant. This position supports a complex civil litigation practice and offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys throughout all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience, e-filing experience, strong organizational and case management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents, managing case files and deadlines, coordinating filings, and assisting with trial preparation and other litigation support activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage calendars, schedules, and daily administrative tasks for attorneys and litigation teams.
  • Coordinate meetings, deadlines, and case-related activities to ensure timely progression.
  • Draft and handle legal correspondence, including letters, memos, and filings.
  • Organize, maintain, and update digital and physical case files.
  • Conduct legal and case law research to support litigation efforts.
  • Prepare, format, and review legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with billing and administrative tasks related to cases.
  • Communicate with clients, court officials, and internal teams to support case management.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
  • Substantial experience in complex civil litigation or similar legal roles is highly desirable.
  • E-Filing experience.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative abilities with a strong emphasis on precision and detail.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Proficient in proofreading to ensure documents are error-free and meet high standards.
  • Capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Anticipated salary range: $58K to $70K
