Job description

Are you on a mission to be a part of creating games that bond players together into deeply invested communities? Would you like to work on something comedic with lighthearted and whimsical characters?

As aStudio Operations Manager (Contract) on teamLFG, you will be a project manager for initiatives in support of the Studio Operations Team and be responsible for supporting daily operations related to studio culture. Most importantly, you will work with a fun, dedicated, and passionate cross-discipline team devoted to turning a creative dream into a new franchise at PlayStation.

We are looking for candidates who value joining a mission-focused team with a diverse set of backgrounds, experiences, interests, and viewpoints.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive execution of projects that require cross-functional collaboration within the Studio Operations team

  • Assist in managing daily studio operations in coordination with the Studio Operations Sr. Manager (e.g., vendor management, contract management, etc.)

  • Own planning and execution of studio morale events, internal swag, and studio on-sites

  • Collaborate with the Studio Operations team to plan and execute internal onsite events

  • Assist with regular studio comms (team meetings, monthly studio ops updates, additional needed comms)

  • Maintain office space and be primary point of contact for facilities and physical security

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong project management skills: building project plans, tracking, and driving projects to on-time on-budget completion

  • Experience working as a part of a multi-discipline operations team (e.g., Facilities, Information Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Recruiting, and Legal)

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills: ability to craft communications to individuals at all levels and disciplines, including studio-wide communication

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to foster strong partnerships in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills, with a proven ability to navigate challenges, mitigate risks, and remove roadblocks to ensure project success

  • Demonstrated experience in rapidly learning new methods and processes and adapting them to critical business needs in a creative environment

  • Results driven mindset with strong critical thinking skills and ability to navigate ambiguity

  • Proficient in Project Management tools (e.g., JIRA or similar, etc.)

  • Ability to work in office 2-3 times a week
