Job Description Finance Manager, Cash Optimization - Chicago or Decatur, ILThis is a full-time, exempt positionJob Description:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cash Flow Transformation leader to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving initiatives that optimize cash, enhance liquidity, and improve overall financial efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, implement best practices, and ensure the financial health of the organization. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Job Responsibilities:Cash Flow Optimization:Analyze the business' cash flow processes and identify areas for improvement.Develop and implement strategies to optimize working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory management.Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and strategic needs.Strategic Planning:Collaborate with Commercial, Operation and Corporate leadership to align cash flow strategies with the organization's overall financial goals and long-term vision.Provide insights and recommendations on cash flow implications for business decisions, investments, and growth initiatives.Process Improvement:Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline cash flow management.Partner with internal teams to automate and digitize cash flow processes where possible.Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track cash flow performance.Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with finance, operations, procurement, origination and sales teams to drive alignment on cash flow objectives.Train staff on best practices for cash flow management and financial efficiency.Risk Management:Identify and drive risk mitigation actions related to cash flow, including currency fluctuations, credit risks, and economic uncertainties.Develop contingency plans to address potential cash flow disruptions.Reporting and Analysis:Review cash flow reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis and financial trends.Job Requirements:Required Skills:Strong ability to coach and influence, provide clear expectations and timely direct feedback, both positive and constructiveStrong analytical abilities, initiative and problem solving skillsStrong oral and communication skills as well as the ability to interface with various levels of managementSelf-motivated with the ability to function independently as well as lead in a team environmentEducation Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
