Engineering Documentation Administrator (Temporary Project)

Pay: $19.00–$21.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time Temporary Project Assignment
Shift - 7am to 4pm

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Documentation Administrator to support a temporary documentation improvement project. In this role, you will create, update, and organize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation while working closely with engineering, operations, quality, and production teams.

This is a project-based position with full-time hours and the potential for future opportunities based on business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Create, update, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
  • Review existing documentation for accuracy and identify gaps or needed improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document manufacturing processes and best practices.
  • Gather information from subject matter experts and translate technical processes into clear, easy-to-follow instructions.
  • Organize and maintain documentation files and revision records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through standardized documentation.
  • Provide project updates and complete assignments within established timelines.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical background preferred.
  • Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, or technical documentation preferred.
  • Strong written communication, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple departments.
  • Manufacturing or engineering experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO documentation, quality systems, or Lean Manufacturing is preferred.
