Job description

PRIMARY PURPOSE
CNAโ€™s Business Operations Internship Program allows interns to be part of a team within one or more corporate business units to learn specific skills and assist with the completion of various projects during the internship period. The corporate divisions include Chief information office (CIO), Chief Finance Office (CFO), People Operations (HR), Research Publications Group (RPG), Legal, Strategic Initiatives/Communications, and Facilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND/OR DUTIES
1. ย  ย Provide support to internal stakeholders in alignment with select campaigns.

2. ย  ย Assist with planning and executing in-person and hybrid events to include drafting invitations, tracking RSVP lists, and drafting read-ahead materials, etc.
4. ย  ย Assist with pulling together marketing materials and slide decks for meetings with external stakeholders and cross-company business development opportunities.

5. ย  ย Provide logistical support as needed (notetaking, managing a tracker of activities, communicating with internal stakeholders).

6. ย ย ย Write articles for the CNA internal newsletter.

7.ย ย  Collaborate with researchers and other staff to keep the website up to date.

8.ย ย  Help organize communications content.

9. ย ย Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. ย  ย Education: Must be in junior or final year of bachelorโ€™s degree or recently graduated from with bachelorโ€™s degree.
2. ย  ย Experience: Experience with event planning and execution, communications or journalism, and business development is preferred, but not required.
3. ย  ย Skills: Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong oral and written communication skills, critical thinking and organizational skills, and a high degree of professionalism are required.
4. ย  ย  Remote/Hybrid Work Eligibility: The intern will be required to be in the office at least 3 days a week, with additional days in the office as needed to support in-person events.ย
