Rhoades McKee is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team! This roles primary responsibilities will be to assist our attorneys with administrative tasks and provide our clients with exceptional service.
Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate with clients, including conducting client intake and follow ups.
  • Prepare documents and forms by completing initial drafts and processing edits.
  • Draft and review legal correspondence including thoroughly proofreading for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
  • Prepares, issues and handles tracking and disposition of subpoenas or other requests for information.
  • Assisting with trial preparation by organizing exhibits and performing other tasks.
  • Track case status for events scheduled in assigned cases.
  • Communicate with clients regarding the status of their case and to send and receive documents.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
