Job description

Downtown Tampa law firm is seeking an experience Legal Assistant/Paralegal for their commercial R.E. team. Ideal candidates will be able to draft commercial loan documents and focus on title commitments, survey, etc.


Some of the duties include:


  • Order title commitments, related lien searches and surveys
  • Review title commitments, prepare title memorandums and identify potential title issues
  • Capable of ATIDS searches
  • Prepare commercial closing docs and settlement statements
  • E-recording
  • Assist in preparation of Commercial Purchase and sale Agreement
  • Prepare title policies
  • Review surveys and identify issues
  • Order estoppels from Associations and other entities dictated by title
  • Post closing disbursements


The position is full time and has potential of permanent employment. Paid parking provided during the assignment.
