Position Title: Contract Analyst
Location: Hybrid, Arlington, VA (2-3 days a week in office)

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Contract Analyst to join our team supporting our Contracts division. In this role you will assist the Subcontracts Manager and the VP of Contracts in supporting the full contract lifecycle, to include reviewing, tracking, ensuring accuracy/completeness/compliance, and most importantly, maintaining organized records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about contracts and business operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, drafts, and manage legal and financial agreements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation
  • Tracking contract actions and maintaining detailed records
  • Ensures compliance with internal procedures
  • Assists the Subcontracts Manager and VP of Contracts in various contracts actions and administration
  • Performs contract administration tasks and will facilitate communication with cross-functional teams to help ensure timely and compliant contract execution

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field with 5 years of relevant experience considered in lieu of Education
  • 2+ years of contracts administration, purchasing, or legal departments experience
  • Contract Literacy -- some FAR and/or VAAR knowledge preferred
  • High attention to detail and strong legal understanding
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Excel, Word, .pdf, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Veteran's Administration is preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. Must be accessible and have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting on days working remote.
