Job description

Our respected law firm client is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join its growing team in Nevada, with the opportunity to work out of Reno or Las Vegas. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney seeking sophisticated casework, professional growth, and a collaborative environment with a flexible hybrid work schedule.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced attorneys representing clients in a broad range of litigation matters in Nevada state and federal courts. Judicial clerkship experience is preferred.

What You'll Do
  • Manage litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle
  • Draft, respond to, and manage written discovery, including eDiscovery processes
  • Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and memoranda
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings
  • Handle motion practice and oral advocacy in state and federal courts
  • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and support staff to develop litigation strategies
  • Analyze case facts, review documents, and assist in case investigations
  • Maintain compliance with Nevada and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Provide responsive client service while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Qualifications
  • Active Nevada Bar license in good standing
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Experience with written discovery and eDiscovery
  • Strong knowledge of Nevada and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Experience with depositions, trial preparation, motion practice, and oral advocacy
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Judicial clerkship experience preferred
