  • Provide wound care and oversee specialized treatments as prescribed.
  • Maintain medication records, including narcotic counts, controlled substance documentation, and pharmacy orders.
  • Promote infection prevention, resident safety, and compliance with established clinical policies and procedures.
  • Respond promptly to resident needs, call lights, and emergency situations.
  • Collaborate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, compliance training, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Travel to assigned Iowa facilities to provide clinical support as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to travel throughout Iowa with reliable transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practice, resident care, and long-term care regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred experience:

  • At least one year of RN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
