Position Summary
In this position, you will lead the market success, growth, and lifecycle management of Banner Engineering's Advanced Industrial Process Sensing portfolio within the Networking & Condition Monitoring Business Unit. This role is responsible for managing and expanding an established portfolio while helping guide Banner's expansion into adjacent process sensing and instrumentation categories. Strategic growth areas may include temperature measurement technologies, flow sensing solutions, and future industrial process monitoring offerings.
This position reports to the Vice President of High Value Manufacturing.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working individually and collaboratively, staying on top of tasks and making a meaningful impact across teams and projects. Below are some key responsibilities of the role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the Advanced Industrial Process Sensing portfolio, including established condition monitoring solutions and strategic adjacent growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to development and maintain portfolio roadmaps that strengthen existing product offerings while supporting expansion into adjacent process sensing technologies and instrumentation markets.
  • Drive portfolio growth through enhancements to existing product families and development of strategic adjacent offerings in process sensing applications.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis activities to identify new product and market opportunities.
  • Develop product requirements and business cases for new product enhancements and adjacent portfolio additions.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams throughout product development and lifecycle management activities.
  • Lead new product launch activities including positioning, pricing, sales enablement, and commercialization.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, business development, distributors, OEMs, and end users to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor product performance, revenue growth, profitability, market share, and customer adoption.
  • Support annual planning, forecasting, and portfolio investment prioritization activities.
  • Present portfolio recommendations and market insights to business unit leadership.
  • Lead and participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of product management, application engineering, technical marketing, or business development experience within industrial automation, sensing, instrumentation, or process control industries.
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing industrial technology product portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of industrial sensing technologies and customer applications.
  • Experience conducting market analysis, competitive assessments, and customer research.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence decisions and drive results without direct authority.
  • Availability for domestic and occasional international travel.

Preferred
  • Experience with temperature measurement technologies, including RTDs, thermocouples, thermal monitoring, or related industrial sensing applications.
  • Experience with flow measurement, industrial instrumentation, process monitoring, or related sensing technologies.
  • Experience serving water/wastewater, food and beverage, chemical processing, energy, pharmaceutical, data center, or manufacturing industries.
  • Experience managing global product portfolios.
  • Knowledge of industrial networking, IIoT, predictive maintenance, or condition monitoring solutions.
  • Familiarity with Banner Engineering products and solutions.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Base Pay Range: $110,000 - $175,000
