A Lecturer in Marketing is responsible for teaching marketing-related courses at a college or university. They design and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops on topics such as consumer behavior, digital marketing, and marketing strategy. In addition to teaching, they may conduct research, publish academic papers, supervise student projects, and participate in departmental activities. Lecturers also play a role in curriculum development and may provide academic advising to students pursuing marketing degrees.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a lecturer in marketing?

To thrive as a Lecturer in Marketing, you typically need a strong academic background in marketing or a related field, often with a master's or doctoral degree, and proven teaching or industry experience. Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard), digital marketing tools, and research methodologies is highly valued.
