About the Opportunity
The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University invites applications for a non-tenure track part time faculty lecturer in Engineering & Manufacturing. The successful candidate will teach online undergraduate level courses in the Bachelors of Science in Advanced Manufacturing Systems. This position will be teaching exclusively in online modality.
Northeastern University will not provide H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, or any other type of employment visa sponsorship for the successful applicant to this position, now or in the future. Furthermore, the successful applicant must be able to maintain valid work authorization in the United States throughout the entire appointment without Northeastern University's sponsorship for a visa.
Responsibilities
Develop and teach undergraduate courses within the Advanced Manufacturing Systems degree and certificate programs. The successful candidate will teach courses including (but not limited to): Fundamentals of Medical Manufacturing, Biomaterials and Bio-compatibility, Problem Solving in Medical Device Manufacturing Processing, Materials for Medical devices and/or other courses included in the curriculum.
Qualifications
Terminal degree in Advanced Manufacturing, Material science, ะœechanical engineering or related field, professional certification, and 15+ years of industry experience at the senior scientist, or engineering manager level required with responsibility for R&D, product development and manufacturing. Experience in technical training or teaching online courses at the undergraduate and graduate level and working with international students is preferred.
