GCM understands the challenges companies face when it comes to the skills and experience needed to fill the void of the day to day function.  Organizations need to reduce training and labor costs but at same requiring the best "talent " for the job. 


Qualifications

eLearning Developer  for short contract.


eLearning Developer  needs:


  • 7+ years of Instructional Design experience
  • Strong background in multimedia development
  • Expert in the below tools: o Camtasia Studio 9 o Lectora 16 or 17 o Captivate 8 or 9 o Photoshop CC / Snagit 13 
  • Proficient in below tools:
  • Excel o Word o PPT o WebEx o  (Jive) (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to translate business and technical requirements into effective learning solutions
  • Professional writing skills, including writing effective instructional text, audio scripts and video scripts
  • Professional communication skills
  • Detail oriented 
  • Has strong graphic design skills
  • Must be self-managed and able to respond quickly
  • Some
    understanding of technical customer services activities, software
    development and Cloud solutions (preferred but not required) 

eLearning Developer duties:

  • Course design
  • Interview SMEs for input goals, outcomes, objectives, format, content, etc. 

  • Create a scenario based course using various medias incorporated into
    Lectora including: o Demos/Videos o Checklists o Animated segments o
    Knowledge Checks/Validation o Activities/tasks for students to complete
    using a test environment based upon their role
  • Conduct course pilot, including incorporating appropriate feedback
  • University, Connections, Wiki, SharePoint, etc. 
  • Provide instructions for maintaining/making updates to the deliverable
