Job description

The Assistant Manager is responsible for the operation of the unit when the Manager is not present. The Assistant Manager is considered a "Manager in Training", in preparation for a possible future management position. Duties include maintaining product quality, service standards, controllable cost goals, cleanliness standards, and cash control.The Assistant Manager, under the Manager's direction, may practice the skills and techniques outlined above

The Assistant Manager is also responsible for the unit when the Manager is on vacation or on a leave of absence.
