FACTORY UNLIKE ANY OTHER
The American Leather factory is unique in the furniture industry. It allows us to create custom luxury furniture in Dallas, Texas, and deliver it to consumers' homes via our retail partners in about 30 days. Blending the best in technology, efficiency systems, and state-of-the-art craftsmanship allows us to offer the most beautiful styles, innovative mechanisms, and various custom options.

SUMMARY:

As a cushion stuffer, you will be required to be on your feet between 40 and 45 hours a week. Fill cushions of all types/sizes which supply the final inspection department to complete orders to keep up with production demands.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stuff the correctly labeled back cushion with the correctly labeled cover material.
  • Stuff the seat cushion using a stuffing machine to press the correctly labeled foam down and put on the correctly labeled cover material.
  • Place the zipper ends so they are not hanging.
  • Check seams to make sure they are straight.
  • Check the back cushion for correct fullness.
  • Check the leather and sewing for quality.
  • Work with Deluxers as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interact collaboratively with others.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment, both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled.
  • Skill in organizing and managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Continuous walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Lifts products to 50 lbs
