Skeeter Products, Inc. is a leading boat manufacturing company, known for producing state-of-the-art, high-performance Bass Fishing Boats that set the standard in the boating industry. Our reputation for quality craftsmanship and innovation has made us a top choice for boating enthusiasts worldwide. We're looking for someone with an eagerness to learn and some sewing experience to join our dynamic team as a sewing operator and help us continue producing world-class boats.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for sewing cut vinyl/leather into various types of seat covers accurately.
JOB DUTIES:
  • Collect appropriate pieces of vinyl/leather as needed for work order
  • Sewing process will include sewing vinyl/leather, backing, welting, puffs and other upholstery materials per specifications
  • Cleaning, oiling and maintaining machine as needed
  • Maintain a clean workstation
  • Must be able to sew and meet quality standards of current production effectively within grade level
  • Any other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous sewing experience preferred
  • Familiarity and comfort level around sewing machines
  • Ability to sit or stand 10+ hours a day
  • Manual dexterity
  • Good coordination
  • Detail oriented
  • Color sensitivity
  • Have good quality habits
  • Have good attendance habits
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
