The Leasing Manager is responsible for assisting the Community Manager in directing and coordinating all marketing strategies, organizing all administrative files and leasing operations. Additionally, they are tasked with maintaining the Community Marketing calendar and ensuring resident relations are always prioritized.   

Responsibilities: 

  • Assists Future residents with finding the perfect apartment to call home

  • Provide a positive and genuine experience to all current and future residents 

  • Using strategic consultative selling skills to achieve 100% Community Occupancy 

  • Use high level communication skills when dealing with current and future resident 

  • Prioritizes tour path and ensures curb appeal is up to par on property – Communicate any feedback to Maintenance team and Community Manager 

  • Works toward a goal of 100% occupancy always.  

  • Ensures leases are complete and correct 

  • Expert in using Marketing techniques and social media to promote community and its events 

  • Maintaining and ensuring the execution of the Community Marketing Calendar 

  • Strong ability to mediate and assess current and future resident feedback 

  • Assists with resident retention activities 

  • Assists with inputting new applicants and the screening process, inputs new leases and renewals daily 

  • Provides feedback and makes suggestions on Leasing Best Practices for the Community as needed 

  • Scheduling and following up with progress of maintenance work orders and future move ins. 

  • Screen leads to increase velocity overall.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Sales is preferred
  • Bilingual experience is preferred
  • Experience in lease up to ensure an increase in qualified leads
  • Position requires a minimum of 1-2 years on-site as a Leasing Consultant preferred  
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings  
  • Marketing – ability to create and execute a Marketing Calendar 
  • Train Leasing Consultants as needed on Leasing and Touring best practices 
  • OneSite and Knock experience are preferred  
  • Competence in Microsoft Suite and Property Management Software strongly preferred. 
  • Participate in training to comply with new or existing Fair Housing laws. 
  • Present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner at all times 
  • Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the Employee Handbook.
