Leasing Agent
Gateway Management Company is currently seeking a Leasing Agent for our Sunrise View apartment community located in Decatur, GA. This position will be responsible for helping prospective tenants, answering phones, showing apartments and assisting the manager as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Greets prospective residents, determines needs and preferences and professionally presents the community and specific apartments while providing features and benefits.
  • Responds to inquiries for property information in an appropriate and timely manner via email and phone.
  • Prepares lease and lease renewal documents.
  • Follows Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents.
  • Assists the Property Manager in maintaining occupancy goals of the community.
  • Encourages resident retention by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with residents and assists with resident functions, activities and programs as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of sales or leasing experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, as demonstrated by regularly verifying all work thoroughly to ensure there are no errors.
  • Knowledge of general office machines.
  • Displays a positive, friendly and professional attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
  • Normal demands associated with an apartment management office environment.
  • Light to medium work that requires extensive standing, walking, stair climbing, stooping, crouching and lifting up to 20 pounds frequently.
