We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team at The Learning Experience. In this role, you will lead a classroom of 4-5-year-old children, creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where children build confidence, develop school readiness skills, and discover a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and learning experiences for preschool children (4-5 years old).
  • Create a welcoming, safe, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
  • Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development through play-based learning.
  • Prepare children for kindergarten by promoting early literacy, math, problem-solving, and social skills.
  • Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress.
  • Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families regarding children's growth and classroom activities.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support assistant teachers and classroom staff.
  • Maintain classroom records and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with center leadership and fellow educators to provide an exceptional early learning experience.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience required
  • Previous classroom leadership or Lead Teacher experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet all applicable state licensing requirements.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience implementing preschool curriculum in an early childhood setting.
  • Strong classroom management and positive guidance techniques.
  • Ability to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
