The Project Manager supports mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order by overseeing task execution ensuring all ontology development, machine learning governance, and metadata management initiatives align with mission requirements. This role manages project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverable tracking while facilitating interagency coordination.

Job Description

  • The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance, and managing contractor deliverables.
  • The position requires managing project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverable tracking ensuring compliance with sprint objectives.
  • Managers will facilitate interagency coordination ensuring knowledge representation efforts align with DoD data-sharing agreements.
  • The role includes leading specific Work Order execution, schedule tracking, and risk management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field; or
  • A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience managing DoD projects.
  • PMP certification required.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • Managing project lifecycles and tracking milestones.
  • Ensuring alignment with DoD acquisition policies.
  • Working with Agile methodologies, contract compliance, and performance reporting.
  • SysEngOps, DevSecOps, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Python, R, SQL/NoSQL, PostgreSQL, and ESRI (ArcGIS/ArcPy).

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Expertise in Agile methodologies, contract compliance, and performance reporting.
  • Working knowledge of SysEngOps, DevSecOps, and version control systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL/NoSQL, PostgreSQL, and ESRI (ArcGIS/ArcPy).
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills.
  • Ability to drive deliverables within cost, schedule, and performance constraints.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) – Required
  • Lean Six (Preferred, Not Required)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (Preferred, Not Required)
  • DAWIA Level II in Program Management (Preferred, Not Required)

Clearance Requirement

  • An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for on-site duty location.
