Location: San Francisco, CA
Department: Project Management
Overview:
Azul Works, Inc., a general engineering contractor in San Francisco, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee civil and general engineering projects, including sitework, grading, utilities, shoring, concrete, paving, and building structures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, including plans, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Handle RFIs, submittals, ASIs, change orders, payment applications, and project close-outs.
  • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking.
  • Prepare reports, budget-to-actual comparisons, and special project analyses.
  • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Mentor and support project team members.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; construction management or engineering experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, costs, and regulations.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet profitability targets.

Work Details:
  • Full-time, in-office position with required travel to project sites (approx. 2x per week).
  • Typical hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
