Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Oakland, CA 94612

Duration: 12+ months

Client Notes:

Looking more for website development and management

Someone with solid website development and website maintenance

Need someone to be able to work with the stakeholders as this is going to be a high visibility position

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate project meetings with stakeholders

Attend project meetings to understand and align team on status

Plan, manage and maintain project schedules

Identify, and track to closure project issues and risks

Track program expenses

Create status reports for all levels - team, leadership, executives

Assist the Program Manager as required with ad-hoc assignments

Ensure compliance to KP methodologies such as the SDLC

Top 3-5 Daily Responsibilities:

Coordinate project meetings with stakeholders

Attend project meetings to understand and align team on status

Plan, manage and maintain project schedules

Identify, track to closure project issues and risks

Create status reports for all levels - team, leadership, executives

Experience

Minimum three to five (3-5) years of related experience

Education

Bachelor's degree OR five (5) years of experience in a directly related field

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to plan and manage a project using a project management tool (i.e. MS Project, Daptiv)

Ability to work with project team and project stakeholders to obtain status, identify issues and develop recommendations for resolutions

Facilitate meetings

Expertise in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong aptitude for quickly learning new tools

PMP certification is a plus

Experience in resource leveling for project schedules.

Top 3-5 Required Skills:

Obtaining status, identifying issues and developing recommendations for resolutions
