Job description

This position is eligible for a higher grade based on experience.
Summary
Play a key role in advancing employee performance and organizational success by supporting the company's commitment to delivering high-quality, professional training for newly hired employees, existing staff, and vendor partners on our Commercial team.
In this role, you will collaborate with enterprise business leaders and team members to identify, assess, and address training needs across the organization. You will design, develop, and implement engaging, effective learning solutions- including e-learning programs- that enhance both individual capabilities and overall business performance.
This position is responsible for maintaining and evolving knowledge bases that include reference materials, system procedures, and leader and instructional guides to ensure program consistency and integrity. You will also facilitate dynamic classroom and virtual learning experiences focused on technical systems, skill development, on-the-job coaching, and customer-centric service excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, facilitate, and deliver training through a variety of methodologies, including but not limited to classroom sessions, web-based instruction, remote and onsite coaching sessions, and on-the-job training
  • Serve as program manager for assigned curriculum, ensuring content remains relevant, up to date, and aligned with company business strategy and KPI goals
  • Design and develop instructional curricula and courseware, including instructor-led training modules for onsite, remote, and hybrid learning environments
  • Conduct needs analyses and stakeholder meetings to identify skill gaps and training requirements
  • Build strong relationships with business partners to identify customer-centric challenges and address performance situations requiring training solutions
  • Formulate course outlines and determine effective instructional methods, including individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, meetings, job aids, performance support tools, webinars, workshops, and self-guided or e-learning modules
  • Support and maintain the integrity of the Learning Management System (LMS) by ensuring learning item descriptions and objectives are accurate and that transcripts are updated upon course completion
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs and develop reporting and analysis to evaluate impact and drive continuous improvement
  • Provide strategic insight to leadership to support the ongoing evolution of training programs
  • Perform work requiring advanced knowledge that is predominantly intellectual in nature, with consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or professional-level knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent related experience (Required)
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent related knowledge (Required)
  • Prior commercial insurance experience is preferred

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range $58,800 - $104,700
